Then simply start drilling holes into it for the air flow. If you made the sheet material about 1 inch larger all around you could cut and bend that over as tabs for the rivets to grab through.

I figured it was fine since Eastwood sold it specifically for use as patch panel material. Am I wrong, or can paint be made to stick if I follow the proper procedures?
